WHAT WE DO
Impact Directors is a Houston based experiential learning organization that helps individuals master three core skills of modern business: Business Negotiations, Business Diplomacy, and Business Leadership. We design immersive, simulation-based conferences where you don’t just listen to speeches, you sit at the table, make decisions, defend your strategy, and experience what it feels like to lead in high-stakes environments.
Our Core Offering:
Business Simulation Conferences
Our flagship experience is the Impact Directors Business Simulation Conference.
Instead of traditional panels and lectures, participants are assigned roles and placed into a structured scenario where they must:
- Represent a company, institution, or stakeholder group
- Analyze challenges and propose strategies
- Negotiate deals, alliances, and compromises
- Respond to changing conditions and new information
- Present final decisions and justify them in front of others
1. Briefing & Orientation
Participants receive all the necessary background information to succeed, including their specific role and interests, the problem they must address, and the constraints they must respect.
2. Committee & Council Sessions
Delegates work in groups—such as business councils, taskforces, or negotiation tables—to define priorities, draft initial proposals, and build internal consensus.
3. Negotiation Rounds
Different groups meet, bargain, and adjust their positions to form partnerships or blocs, secure support for their proposals, and balance their own goals with what others are willing to accept.
4. Crisis / Update Phases
New information or shocks—such as market shifts, regulatory changes, or stakeholder pressure—are introduced, requiring participants to quickly adapt their strategies and manage the impact.
5. Final Outcomes
By the end of the simulation, delegates present their final strategy, framework, or agreement, defend their decisions, and reflect on what worked well and what could be improved.
